COVID-19 Update + Event Cancellations
It’s especially prudent in times like these for Aaron and I to remind ourselves to “smile, breathe and go slowly” so we can enable ourselves to stay aligned with our big WHY—the reason why we do what we do at A. Ward Weddings and Events—and to remain focused on our goals for our clients:

In alignment with that goal, we wanted to take a beat and address COVID-19 concerns as they relate to our services. We LOVE participating in special events and are honored to be invited to facilitate the soundtrack, entertainment and audio/visual experiences for these cherished gatherings. And this is why we take the impact that this new global pandemic has on our events with utmost urgency and sincerity.
As always and with every event, our greatest concern is safety, and we proactively follow the directives of health authorities regarding sanitation and cleanliness of our equipment (wiping down mics & rental gear) and disease prevention (hand washing, covering a cough, etc.) as a standard. Additionally, we are actively practicing social distancing and asking all clients and guests to maintain safe distances while at events together to prevent the spread of germs.
At this time, we are planning and servicing events and working to ensure exceptional experiences for our clients on their BIG DAY as long as we are aligned with the guidelines coming from government officials regarding COVID-19 to #slowthespread. Over the past 10 days, these guidelines have evolved and continue to change quickly, so we advise our clients and event colleagues to #leadboldly with us and follow the protocols being released by CDC and local authorities such as Austin Public Health to make informed decisions about our events.
It is understandable the impact of COVID-19 is cause for postponing or rescheduling events, so we intend to deliver all services once our community has emerged from quarantine. We continue to CHAMPION your event because we are still a part of your TEAM and are committed to helping you bring your celebration to life, so let’s stay connected and work together for alternative solutions and rescheduling.
As the situation develops, we will continue to make decisions based on the health and well-being of our clients and their guests, as well as that of ourselves. We remain positive and are ready to navigate this challenging time together with you until it all dissipates. We will get through this, y’all! Just remember to “smile, breathe and go slowly.”
